The SynchroWave antenna has the following features:
- Strength and “torquability”, especially when placing around ribs
- Sharp trocar tip allows for easy penetration
- Self-test module gives feedback on antenna viability
- Lengths of 10 cm, 15 cm, 20 cm and 25 cm
- Ablation zones from 2 cm to 7 cm
- Optional handle extension allows clinician to easily maneuver antenna within CT gantry
- Tip easily seen under ultrasound and CT
- Simple cooling circuit – needs only room temperature sterile saline
